| Storage Seat We always get great comments on our front storage seat. What a convenient way to store away the essentials for a fishing trip! These seats are sold preassembled, but unfinished. The material for the storage seat will match whatever plywood is chosen for the driftboat kit. Storage seats are sold as a substitution for the standard driftboat passenger seat. To purchase a storage seat separately from a boat kit, please add $75 to the price indicated at right. We offer two types of storage seats. For those who wish to mount plastic boat seats on top of the bench, we offer the type pictured at right (note that the folding seats are available as an accessory at an additional charge - they are not included with the seat). This type is built with front and rear cabinet door access to the storage space within the seat. Folding seats can be mounted directly to the bench top or attached to our seat sliders (shown at right). The second type of storage seat, not pictured here, is designed to be used like a standard driftboat seat, with passengers sitting directly on the bench and leaning against tombstone-shaped seatbacks. This type of storage seat has a hinged top (but no cabinet doors), giving better access to the interior of the box. |
