The boat bottom in a kit comes with square edges. Here we have roughed it out way too big to make it easier to manage. Two screws ar installed in order to fix the position of the bottom after it is more accurately fit. We want it to go back exactly in the same place after we trim it and caulk the chines and bottom ribs.
