George Recker, my trumpet/guide friend (as a fisherman, he is a good trumpet player) is inspecting the work. Doesn't he have opinion written all over him? Hands in pockets? Actually, this is a new model of driftboat, a 16 1/2' x 50" bottom inspired by George. I owe him all the credit for this project. He is building one himself as well. He will then own five of my driftboats. (His significant other, Alice, really owns one of them - she painted the outside of it pink.)
