Wood is a material whose qualities vary from board to board and tree to tree. The piece of wood in question today, the bottom of the above boat, is acting a bit "stiff" today. That's me with my head in the rafters, putting my weight to bear. Getting the bottom down that last eigth of an inch so Buster can fasten it to the stem.
